There are several ways to overcome fear.

Buddhist monks sat in the middle of the jungle all night surrounded by wild animals to release fear.

Fortunately, there are easier ways to rid yourself of negative emotions.

Michael Singer is the author of the New York Times best-seller, “The Untethered Soul”.

During an interview with Oprah, Mr. Singer shared this Release Technique (RT):

When you feel a negative emotion (like fear or anxiety for example), instead of ignoring or suppressing the feeling, allow yourself to feel the emotion completely until it goes away on its own.

Negative feelings can’t stand the clear light of awareness.

So give the feeling your undivided attention.

From now on, whenever you experience a negative emotion, allow yourself to feel it — as fully as you can — until the feeling completely goes away on its own.

Do this whenever fear arises, and it will disappear for good.

In the interest of full disclosure, you should know this RT can be emotionally painful and physically exhausting because it requires you to FEEL negative emotions… which is unpleasant.
